  • 1990 Americans with DIsabilities Act

    10/1/07

Does anyone have further information about this? It was recommended to look into as Helpful websites from the National Scolosis Foundation, one of the flyers in a packet sent to us.
    website address: www.eeoc.gov/laws/ada.html.
The full test of the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act found here can inform you of your rights as an Adult Scoliosis patient to special devices such as chairs or accommodations such as rest breaks that can help you at your workplace.

Could locate the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act on the website but could not seem to find the path to Adult Scoliosis and their rights.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thank you

Have you searched on fusions, or spine? I know the act has been updated several times. It may be best to start with the most current version. Also the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation through your local Department of Labor can help you get the modifications you need in the workplace. They can even help you get retraining if that is necessary.
