    Hi,

    Just like I thought ./....more opinions make you crazy !!! I met with the reknown Dr. Jean C. Farcy..he's a french doctor who has done over 3,ooo scoli cases...he said to minamize infections he works fast...he spent 1 hour talking to me and I spent 450.$
    He just about said the same thing Dr. Neuwirth said ..long fusion
    T2-3 to L4-5...my husband and I are talking about which dr. verses which date...any ides?

    Which doctor makes you more comfortable? Also, which doctor has the better experience? Surgey like that is a huge thing to consider, but try to compare what having the surgery will do for you verses not having it. Sit down and make a list of known tinks (good and bad) and suspected things (good and bad). My own surgery at 13 was for the majority of my back. The only unfused portion is the bottom 6 inches. Other than a longer surgery stay there wasn't much difference in healing time. Goog luck on what you decide!

      I choose Dr. Neuwirth on June 28th, I would like to thank everyone for listening to me vent...I feel stronger and more confident, thanks to U guys.

          Yes he was my second opinion.....He was kind and considerate but he asked me to take a test that the other two surgeons did not agree upon. So I decided not to go with him..also his personnel were not very nice.
