  • quick question

Can you be in your late 30's, have very mild Scoliosis, but not be diagnosed with it?

Thank you in advance for any replies,
    Tracy

You bet. There's a new person over in the Adult Members / Non-Surgical forum at the moment who's 42 and been diagnosed with moderate scoliosis.

Thank you Javaboy... The reason I asked.

I'm sure I don't have scoliosis. I was asking because I had a spinal tap recently and the doctor was having trouble doing it. Then she asked me if I have scoliosis. I didn't bother to ask her why she asked. All I know is I was checked when I was a kid in school and nothing was ever found or mentioned. Besides, she's the doctor... she should know...

I do know that my lower back has been bothering me since the tap.

Thank you for your help and good luck to you..
          Best of health..
