  • Help..Looking for spine specialist in CA..

    Hello..
I am a 47 yo femaile with severe scoliosis, which until the last couple of years has not bothered me.
My degrees are 66 deg right T, with 55 deg L compsatory curve..very prominant right sided rib hump.
I know surgery will be recomended, but need to get a better opinion than the one I had down here in Santa Cruz, CA with a small town back dr..
Where are the closest recommended drs?/ I know there are some atUCSF.., but any ones nearer to me with good reps and a lot of experience?? San Jose?? Palo Alto??
Linda you would know this as you mentioned to me a year ago..or anyone with some good advice
    THX!!

    Hi...

I don't know of anyone close to you. There are some surgeons at Stanford, but none that do much in terms of treating adults. Jeff Coe in Los Gatos does treat adults. Beyond that, I would definitely recommend that you get up to UCSF.

    Regards,
    Linda
