  • Underneath the brace

    Hello everybody,
Our son 7 years old started wearing a braca a month ago.
We need help about where can we find strech sleevless or sleeved shirts
that can be worn beneath the brace. Our country is very hot in summers and moderate cold in winters.
Your advises would be appreciated so much, any addresses or web sites concerning where can we find such shirts to make our son more comfortable.
    Many thanks.

we found the "knit-rite" coolmax vests, manufactured in the USA, very good. They are very elastic, so sit thight against the skin (so no folds) and apparantly do have a "wicking" effect, keeping sweat away from the body. The only disadvantage is the high cost, at £16.00 (UK) each (anybody knows where to get these cheaper??)

to find out more, just type in knit-rite and coolmax on google and you'll get to relevant websites)

(ps, do not know where you live, can give you details of UK supplier)

Boston T was the best that we found, although they are pricey. Your insurance might cover them. You can find them at: http://www.bostonbrace.com/Boston_T.htm
