  • which side is preferable to sleep? do ribs continue to deform?

When you sleep by your side do you feel most comfortable over the rib hump side or the other?

what are the chances of crushing more the ribs of the rib hump side by choosing to sleep over that side?

When I am aware of my sleeping position I tend to prefer the opposite side of the rib hump, it is more comfortable to me. But I am wondering if the ribs deformed continue/progress to deform even after surgical correction of scoliosis.

    Any help is appreciated.

I find the opposite side better. But with my nerve trapped in the side of the rib hump( referring to the spine nerve leading to my leg) I have felt stronger in the opposite side ever since my first spine surgery. So sleeping on that side makes me more comfortable about getting up and standing. I just feel stronger but have never had any test that proves that side is stronger. Or my brain just trusts that side more.
With my major problem in the scapula and the recent surgery on that side I don't sleep on it too much.
As you continue to heal it gets easier to move around more.
