After trying many different ways to correct my scoliosis, I had to get surgery on my back when I was 14. Everything has went pretty well. Resently though, I have had more back pain and I had my back x-rayed and my scoliosis has bent the rod. I don't know what that really means. I have no idea what is going to happen next. If anyone else has experienced this before I'd appreciate it if you would write and let me know what happened.

Assuming that you had surgery in the last 15 years or so, you do know that your rods were bent before they were were attached to your spine???
Did the surgeon tell you that your curve bent the rod? As far as I know, that's impossible.

I'm guessing that it's actually broken. Have you been seen by a scoliosis specialist since having the x-ray?
