Do you know how long you have to keep going back? Our surgeon releases kids after 20 months (one year after the 8 month appointment assuming maturity) and my kids haven't been to the surgeon in quite a while. They are done and carrying on with normal life.Sharon, mother of identical twin girls with scoliosis

Hi Kennedy,
I always feel nervous before my x-rays and appointments, too. I call it "that dreaded x-ray feeling." It's natural. I think you are going to do great.
I just realized I have my one year check-up that day, too. I am hoping for a good report after having broken rods last year.
How is everything else going? Have you been on winter break?Gayle, age 50
