  • Whining

I'm not trying to whine or complain, but the right side where my ribs are on my pelvis I'm having a sharp pain. It started about an hour ago. Before that it was just uncomfortable...now it's an almost short, stabbing pain right in the fold where the 2 meet. Anyone experience that pain and should I be worried??

No, I have not experienced any sharp pain in the ribs. For me, it is dull and heavy feeling, like ribs are crashing my pelvis. I feel it withing 5 minutes of walking and after about half-an-hour of walking the pain becomes really bad and I need to lay down. It also bothers me in a car. The corkscrewing effect is more pronounced when I am driving for some reason.

Driving is when it's at it's worst for me also Irina. I have to lean to the left so it feels like the ribs aren't feeling so collapsed. Ugh..as nervous as I am about my surgery, I can't live like thus anymore. I'm ready

        Jenni,

It will be over soon. People say that waiting is the worst, but you're almost there. Hang in here.

I wouldn't hesitate to let your surgeon know of this pain, however, I am hoping that your surgery will alleviate the pain. My right hip no longer sits on my right hip.
