hoping they don't reschedule my surgery again
I am also looking for something for our daugher (13) for when she has her surgery. Some I have seen on the internet are maybe a little young looking, not sure...
But here are a few sites. Interested to see what others will fine. You need humor, to help cope sometimes!
What a great idea! Hope someone comes up with a really funny one.

That is a cute idea!
Jennifer-- Been hearing about how bad the flooding is there. Is your area OK?? Hope you are safe and sound! Janet
Janet
61 years old--57 for surgery
Diagnosed in 1965 at age of 13--no brace
Thoracic Curve: 96 degrees to 35 degrees
Lumbar Curve: 63 degrees to 5 degrees
Surgery with Dr. Lenke in St. Louis--March 30, 2009
T-2 to Pelvis, and hopefully all posterior procedure.
All was posterior along with 2 cages and 6 osteotomies.
Thanks for thinking of us Janet. Here on the Sunshine Coast, we've been lucky. We've had torrential rain but we weren't in the path of the flash flooding that wreaked so much havoc in other areas. Today is sunny but the flooding continues South of here as the massive amount of water continues downstream. Queensland is a huge State and 75% was under water. At one point we had thousands of kilometres underwater, hard to imagine. Here is some footage taken over the last few days: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEBIZ2KLsPA

Jennifer--
Glad you are OK. I can't believe 75% was flooded. Unbelievable--thanks for the video. I hope things change for the better quickly. Janet

"Slippery Curves Ahead" with one of those yellow diamond warning road signs with the black curvy line topped with the arrow. We could use that emoticon around here.

Glad your area is ok, Jennifer. I was wondering the same about you at random times of the day and I'm glad Janet remembered to ask. So many people to wonder and worry about on this forum...like having the biggest family ever!

Thanks Amy. I definitely do think this is my second family. We're all in it together.
Fortunately the flooding is easing in Queensland and the clean up has begun. It's been heart-warming to see people pulling together and the help that's poured in from everywhere.

Well, it might represent a return to wearing "regular" clothes and having them fit correctly... if you were in Madonna's Blond Ambition tour... (smiley face)
