Thumbs up Knocked out the first blood donation

The good news about my giving blood is: because I'm under 110 pounds, I didn't have to donate as much...only about half a pint at a time instead of a whole pint. I did check with Dr. Boachie's office today and they said it was okay.

A word to the wise: If anyone waiting for surgery is also under 110, call ahead to wherever you're having blood taken to make sure they have the "kiddie bags" on hand....I had to wait 2 hours today while they drove the smaller bags in from the Red Cross headquarters in Philadelphia.
