    surgery tomorrow =)

ugghhh ok the nervousness had officially set in..I am leaving at 4 so I can be at the hospital for 6am. My bags are packed and I took everyones advice and brought the bare necessity. I can't wait until this week is over and I will finally be on the road to recovery! The doctor changed up my operation a little I will be having an anterior and he will start to begin the posterior tomorrow and Thursday he will finish up with the posterior. Thank you for all your prayers ladies and gents =) When you hear from me next I will be on the other side on the road to recovery (:

It's nearly over! The waiting is the worst part in my opinion. When you wake up, it'll be over then all you need is time and rest. Hope you get an excellent result and a smooth recovery. Thinking of you.

75 curve top of spine, and getting worse slowly.
    Surgery on 21st May 2008. T3-L4
Op went well 20ish degree curve now.
May need op in 18 months to remove rods due to pain, but might calm down when bone graft has healed, less pain now, just some shoulder blade pain, and a cold spot in middle right of back.

thoughts & prayers for a great outcome, megz..this is what you've waited for...your curves are big, this is the best choice!

you will be fine & in recovery before you know it! i will pray for smooth healing for you...& the days will come where you no longer suffer the pain & discomfort you have put up with for so long!

you will come out of this, after healing , healthy & strong!
