Today is day 16 after her surgery. Although, I have seen improvemets everyday, she got fully dressed yesterday. She is still taking some paid medicine. Her biggest problems are the muscle tightness, soreness and getting out of the bed by herself. She hasn't mastered getting out of the bed. I think she may have over done it yesterday because she is a little tired this morning.
I'll have to say that after the 2 week mark she started to get better and that is what the nurse told us would happen.
After her surgery she was so terrified to do things that she was used to doing, like getting in the car, the ride home, taking a shower and just simple things but once she did them she was okay.
This weekend we are going to start working on all of the make up work from school. She has tried but has to take a break every so often because sitting up straight wears she out. But we will get it done by the 30th when she is scheduled to return to school.
