HELP!! Frustrated and Mad!!

Hello Mariaf,
Yes, Janet actually called me and listened to my daughter's history. She is so kind and compassionate, she is actually the first person in the medical field to actually ask how Emily is doing emotionally! She asked how does she feel around her peers, is this affecting her, she also wanted a regular pic of her back. She said that they would be happy to look at Emily's file, and of course if we wanted to come to PA that would be great but with the distance she said to send her the med records, so I did, actually today I sent them out. Yes, she is on vaca this week. I am so excited that I have someone with "fresh eyes" looking over our situation. I am sooo looking forward to hearing back from her!

I want to thank all of you who recommended her! I have a new outlook on our situation and I feel hopeful, which I haven't felt that in awhile....

Please keep me posted - I have no doubt that they can and will come up with the best possible plan for your daughter!

I am a parent of a child who did the growth rod treatment and one who is just braced. Being that your daughter is so young I wouldn't rule it out as a possibility. Yes there are more surgeries with it, but after the intial surgery, my daughter bounced back fairly quickly on the legthening proceedures.
