    My physical therapist recommended that I not use the theracane. She said a harder surface that she thinks I should use. Instead, she recommended the tennis ball on a string trick.

      I can appreciate that. A theracane is definitely harder than a tennis ball. Pain management is a challenge. What works for some, doesn't work for others.
