  • 6 month post op back pain?

    Hi!
I had my surgery March 25th, and just the top half of my back is fused, I cant remember the exact things. But lately I have been having alot of lower back pain especially right where my rod ends? Has anyone had this or know what might be causing it?
    Thanks!

Are you thin? My son's surgeon mentioned something about hardware can sometimes be bothersome, especially people on the thinner side.

      Hi Bojangles

Welcome to the forum. You ought to be coming up on a 6 month visit with your surgeon soon. He might shoot an x-ray to take a peek.

There are quite a few pains that happen in the first 6 months, most of the time, they usually pass as you heal.

I'm of no help since I'm fused all the way down to the pelvis. sorry
