Exercise for Lourdes?
Hi - If Madonna, her daughter and/or their clinicians are looking at this forum, I join with others in wishing the family the very best. Conservative methods for scoliosis treatment are gaining traction, especially in the US where traditionally the options have been limited to "wait and see," bracing and/or surgery. Madonna may want to consider exercise as an adjunt to her current bracing and/or as an option to explore at some point in time. The Scroth Method is an exercise-based physical therapy treatment has been used across Europe for decades and more recently become available in the US. Information about Schroth and literature references are here: http://www.schrothmethod.com/studies.html. A Milwaukee-based clinic has had success with this method and people are traveling from across the US for treatment from one of the program's three Schroth-certified PTs. More at: http://tinyurl.com/scoli. Best wishes to Lourdes and her famliy in their journey with scoliosis
