    First, you will NOT be diagnosed without meeting the current criteria which I stated in rough form previously. That said, anyone can read the criteria and pretty much know if they are at least likely to have Marfan's. That's the point where you have the testing.

    Second, if you have the aortic involvement YOU WANT TO KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, okay?

    Third, I know ZIP about the aorta repair surgery other that it is much better to do it BEFORE any dissection occurs. You are going to ask your cardiologist about that when you go for the cardiac sonography, remember?
