I have recently been diagnosed with flat back deformity (initial Harrington Rod placed in 1983). I was recently evaluated by Dr. James Dewberry in Savannah, GA. He advised me that I will need revision surgery. Does anyone have suggestions for a specialist I can see for a second opinion regarding this revision surgery? I am about an hour from Savannah, GA; two hours from Augusta, GA; two hours from Charleston, SC; and four hours from Atlanta. Thanks!

I see a doctor in Cumming, Ga (north of Atlanta - Dr. James, Resurgens Group). I think he also has an office in Lawrenceville (east of Atlanta). A friend of mine takes her daughter to a doctor in Augusta. Avoid the doctors at Emory in Atlanta. They are nothing but a factory.T12- L5 fusion 1975 - Rochester, NY
