    Hello all.
    Sorry I took so long to reply - I've been really busy.

    Anyway, back to the shoulder. I do not get the "hot liquid" feeling any more, so don't worry about that. Sometimes I feel a stinging sensation behind my shoulder blade, but its not too horrible.

    If I had to redo the surgery I would definately do the rib removal again. My back looks SO much better. The hump is completely gone, its just the shoulder that bothers me. Its actually not even the pain that I don't like about it, its more of the appearance and its uncomfortable in certain chairs. It doesn't flatten so I sit rather tilted and the point pokes out and rubs against the back of the chair.

      Is there any relief for the shoulder pain? My daughter has intermittant sharp pains that last from a few seconds to a few minutes. Her xray was fine. She is completely immobolized during that time.She had surgery about 3 years ago with the fusion in her upper back only.
