  • Inversion Table?

I have heard people with Scoli and prior fusions use the Inversion table.

Anyone ever use one or if it helped with pain? Could someone use a Inversion Table if they are fused and if so would it be okay?

I got rid of my table before surgery. You've had a failed fusion and hardware removal? That sounds pretty risky ...

    Too risky, in my opinion.

Yeah, some people used inversion after surgery (namely Ginger ... with no hardware - bad girl! :-), but for the most part I can only imagine it would put undue stress on the fusion - and have no effect on the fused area. It can't possibly open the intervertebral spaces because there ARE none.
Fusion is NOT the end of the world.
