7 year old diagnosed - hoping to find friends to talk with

Hello everyone... it's my first time posting, but I'm very glad to be here. I have a lot of reading to do, but this is such a great resource - as are all of you!

My 7-year-old daughter was diagnosed at the end of August. Although her curve is very slight (only 15 degrees at L2/L3), she does have a significant rotation (not sure the measurement of that; again, I'm 10 days into this), and my husband's family history is considerable. As such the orthopedist decided to brace her in (what I believe is) the nighttime Providence brace. We just had the mold casting done on Monday.

I'm hoping to find some other girls who are going through this - my daughter is anxious to find others who are her age to penpal with. Any other JIS girls who'd like to correspond or even meet if we're close enough? I'm in Virginia.
