  • Is Anyone Else Having Trouble with the Website??

I noticed that I cannot perform certain tasks, such as:

    Locate new posts;

Find all posts by a member (I was trying to find an old post); etc.

When I try to do these things, I get the following message:

"There seems to have been a slight problem with the NSF Forums database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

    We apologise for any inconvenience."

ARE THE MODERATORS AWARE OF THIS??? IS ANYONE WORKING TO CORRECT IT?

I noticed this a few days ago when I tried to access "new posts" but since the message states that "an e-mail has been dispatched to our techinical staff", I didn't report it - seemed redundant.

    Me too

    Hi Maria,

Yes, I am getting the same error too. Based on all of the problems I recently had with my User CP access (which I still have but I now have a workaround solution) and absolutely NO contact from any technical staff or moderators when I posted my problem on the forum, I wouldn't hold my breath hoping this one will get fixed anytime soon.

I just look now on the main forum page to see if there are any threads that indicate something has been posted today.

    Frustrating...

That's EXACTLY what I'm doing too - checking the main page to see if anything "looks" new - frustrating indeed!

        Yes.

I realized I didn't have a signature here, so tried to add it and got that same error.

I have no idea if anything I've done in those regards has worked. I hadn't checked in a long time had some PM's so replied very late but I'm not even sure those sent after I got that error for my signature.

I tried 2 diffferent ways and both times when I went to save that was the error I got.

Of course, the website went TOTALLY down for a bit on me either yesterday or today (don't remember).

EDITED: I see my signature WAS saved. WEIRD. I got the error so didn't think it was on there until I posted this & it showed up.

Yes, Becky, there is some VERY strange stuff going on with the technical side of the site.

It's been going on for a few weeks - hopefully they will eventually get it resolved.

At least it's good to know I'm not losing my mind in this area anyway.

Very strange...at least I can post without a problem.

I just wanted to mention that we pulled the trigger on scheduling surgery when my one daughter hit 48*.

At the time of surgery about two months later, she was at 58*. Amazing.

                Thank you!!

It looks like the forum is working great again! I can go directly to User CP, search, list new posts, etc. and the errors are gone.

So, to whoever fixed all of the problems THANK YOU!!
