im 18 yrs old with a curvature in the spine of 28 degrees. my doctor & chiropractor thinks that my curvature is too minor for an operation and too old for a brace but only physical therapy such as exercises will help my back pains and curve. does anyone know any advice or exercise tips that you think will help??
    thanx... ciao..

just curious, has your scoliosis progressed much over the years. 28 degrees is minorish (not minor but not major). Surgery isn't looked at until curves are at about 40/50 degrees plus. At that degrees, is it causing you pain. In my head, a curve of that degree, shouldn't be giving you significant pain. Some people do wear a brace for comfort (but not for degree correction as degree correction is very difficult after skeletal maturity)
