rash from brace??

i wear a providence brace and i have noticed a rash on my belly. it is little red bumps that itch, sometimes worse than others. i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this??? if it gets any worse i am going to see a doctor about it. input???

I'm no doctor or anything, but I wear a Boston Brace, and I have gotten little red bumps before bracing and during bracing, and it's probably a heat rash. Like I said, I'm not a doctor, but hopefully that's what it is. If it is a heat rash, it will go away on its own. If it stays, you should probably get it checked by a doctor.

Yeah. It's not just you. I wear a Boston Brace and get those too. I'm not a doctor or anything, but I would say it is just a heat rash.

WOW!!! i've had the SAME question! i get little red bumps on my left hip sometimes from the brace. it worries me sometimes, but i know it's not anything severe. it doesn't itch or hurt either. i agree w/u it's prob just a heat rash.
