Another idea - How about using this extra time to become a really great student (if she is not one already). She could really surprise herself and the rewards are really great in the long run. She could also learn a language with c.d.'s etc., learn to play and instrument, become well read, learn to sew, cook, or whatever else might interest her. She how has the gift of time to learn some really great stuff and become that much more interesting a young lady.
