My Harrington rod surgery was done 41 years ago, extending to L2. We believe I have stenosis at L3. I have recently heard about this surgery on the TV news, and have been reading up on the internet. It relieves symptoms like mine from stenosis (more leg pain, minor back pain). Severe scoliosis is mentioned on one site as a disqualifying condition. This surgery is mentioned on these scoliosis forums by a couple people as first-time surgery, but by no one with previous surgery. Has anyone with previous surgery looked into this?
