  • growth after the surgery

Does anyone know the answer to this?
My son who just turned 16 had the surgery 3 weeks ago.
His height remained the same to this day.
Prior to the surgery the doctor predicted he would grow anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 inches.
His curve was T4-L4 T50 and L57 degrees.
After surgery it is T19 and L18 degrees.

My son had his surgery last year and gained a few inches from the surgery. We were told his torso would no longer grow because of the fusion, but that his growth plates were still open and he would gain height in his legs. I think he gained maybe another 1/2 inch in height in the past year. Hope this helps!
