Congrats to you, KleinJ - sounds like a great recovery so far.

Anya's finally out of the hospital - the digestive issues resolved with enough consistency yesterday and today that they let her go after keeping down the old standbys of crackers, toast, fruit, etc. Apparently the tube really kick-started things . . . We are very relieved to be home but also exhausted and facing the entirely new challenges of adapting to the home environment after being in the hospital surrounded by health-care experts (not to mention adapting the home to her new needs, only some of which were anticipated). It has been an utterly exhausting day so that's all for now; I'm sure the lady will be up and about and on the forum again before long. Thanks to all of you for your help, support, and suggestions! We'll keep updating . . .

          Best,
          Chris

Anya, I'm glad to hear you are finally home. I can imagine the trepidation you both must have felt, though, to be leaving the professionals behind - sort of like bringing a first baby home, I'm sure!

I look forward to all future posts. Chris, you are making me laugh out loud with your blogs! I wish you both the best in the coming days.
