  • Shriners???

Hi,my daughter is currently seeing a doctor in Little Rocks Childrens Hospital.I hear the Doctor she is seeing is ne of the best.Im am not completely thrilled w/ his "bed side manner" sorta speak.I find him a little rude and uninformative.I have learned more from the people on this site.I have been approached about applying for Shriners.Of course at this point it was just suggested to me,I dont know the rules. It is also 5 1/2 hours away.Wich is no problem if it is worth it.Has anyone has experience in the Shriners hospital?I would like to hear all positive and negatives about it before I persue it further.Let me know please it will be greatly appreciated

    Hi,

Fortunately, there are no rules to being accepted at Shriners. The only criteria is that the child is under 18 and has an orthopedic condition that they treat. Your daughter obviously meets both criteria.

If you want any further info, you can email me at mariaf305@yahoo.com or post any questions here.

    Good luck,
