What is your opinion on women who are tall with Scoliosis, does it play a part in the rapid degeneration? I am 5'9 (was taller of course) and very long waisted and have long arms. Would this explain more degeneration with a smaller curve? Leverage? What about progression of the curve... Worse once gravity takes hold? Thanks Linda.

Interesting! I was slightly under 5'10" (all arms and legs), with a very small waist. In the last 3-4 yrs, I've shrunk to 5'6" and have no waist. My 30 yr old daughter (who is 5'9" with a very similar build) is starting to show signs of scoliosis as well. I have often wondered if certain body types are more prone to suffer from this condition.
