re Triac; although theoretically an attractive brace, it isn't really taking of at all. Hospitals in the netherlands which started trying it have reverted back to hardbracing as the were not happy with the results and on dutch forums there doesn't seem to be much enthousiasm from patient

Hello Gerbo, have you seen or heard anything on the Triac II brace? Thanks! Pat
as far as I can gather, the triac II has been "current" for quite a while, and i have heared anybody raving about it, and besides Groningen, where its inventor is based, I do not believe it is used a lot
Hi Gerbo, it was offered to us about a year ago, as an alternative to Spinecor and hard bracing here at our hospital in Connecticut, but it hadn't gone before the IRB (Internal Review Board) yet; I'll have to check and see if it's still being offered, and how it's working out. Thanks! pat
