  • Weight Gain

I'm a 57 year old male with severe scoliosis diagnosed at the age of 13 - At 23 years of age I had what then was called then a Dwyer Procedure plus a spinal fusion. Over the years it has been a constaint battle against daily chronic pain. I have never let it effect my day to day living choosing to battle through the pain. All though I have always been on the skinny side I am finding that lately I am losing weight and do not have an appetite for food. Is any one else having trouble gaining weight.

    Hi...

I don't get it. Why would you think it has anything to do with your scoliosis or fusion?

I would assume you are on some kind of pain killers?? I was on percoset & it totally affected my appetite & daily moods...Now being pretty much off it, I feel like myself again & have gradually gotten back a love for food....Ly
