  • spine twisting

I had a harrington rod inserted in 1978. I have now discovered that the top of my spine is twisting and apparently there is nothing that can be done. I am 41 years old and do not want to end up in a wheelchair. Anyone know anything? I could use some good news. Thanks

    Hi Jeanne...

Did a scoliosis specialist tell you that nothing could be done? Doctors who treat people with prior scoliosis fusions are sort of a sub-specialty. You may want to try to find one. Where do you live?
