    please do

    Desheah,

I welcome any and all information you want to send. We go back in August which gives me some time to prepare more questions and research. Thanks. I am in the middle of training for work, have been for last 2 months so I sometimes go several days or a week between chances to visit the forums. All this plus major changes at work for me. I feel a bit overloaded, but I'm getting close to the end of my training. Thanks for everything so far. You guys have been a blessing.

      Our First Cast

Hi, It's been some time since I have been on the forum. Our daughter Sydney is now 2 1/2 and has been wearing a TLSO now 19 months. We go to the Shriner's in Greenville, SC. It seems our Doctor among many others in the states now support Dr. Meta's casting method. We are getting our first cast Mon. Oct. 22. It's kind of short notice as we just found out this week but we are both nervous and excited. I'm having trouble finding the forum on yahoo. If anyone can feed us info, pics of casts, direction we would appreciate it. We've seen some but would like to see more pics of the cast.

      Thanks

      jeff

        Hi Jeff,

I'm very happy to hear the docs are going to try casting for Sydney. You can read about other casting kids at this website: http://www.infantilescoliosis.org/

Also, there is a yahoo email list with many families in various stages of casting treatment found here: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...ile_scoliosis/

Let us know how your appointment on Monday goes. We'll be anxious to hear how she's doing.
