  • a few questions regarding Dr. Boachie and thoracic spine fusion.

    just a few quick questions:
Has anyone had thoracic spine fusion by dr. boachie to correct curvature, and if so, how was the process and total outcome. how is the dr himself?
How long was the wait from time of consultation to the process it's self? I'm trying to get as much information as possible before I go to my consultation.

Hi---I'm going w/ him for surgery this early August....so if you need any info..
I only waited a mth or 2 to get an appmt...guess it depends on the mth... surgery could have been set 3 mths out but I did'nt have my game plan set that early...Lynne

      Dr. Boachie

He gave me my life back; go to my oldposts so I do not have to repeat myself.
      Original scoliosis surgery 1956 T-4 to L-2 ~100 degree thoracic (triple)curves at age 14. NO hardware-lost correction.
Anterior/posterior revision T-4 to Sacrum in 2002, age 60, by Dr. Boachie-Adjei @Hospital for Special Surgery, NY = 50% correction
