My mom gave me some old notes on my curves before I went into the milwaukee brace. Looks like my original curves were 40/54 at age 16. I thk the lower would be my lumbar. Then, in the brace for a period, I was 30/37(in brace) & 40/47(out of brace). I am now 60/60 30 yrs later. I wonder if the brace really helped hold me????

Unfortunately, you'll never know for sure. These days, the research shows that curves over 40 degrees generally don't respond to bracing.
