  • Doctor in Dallas / Fort Worth area

    Hi everyone,

I just discovered this website today, and this is my first post. I'm a 30 year old male who had spinal fusion surgery when I was 16. I have been having quite a bit of upper back pain the past several months, so I've decided it's time to see doctor. I haven't had a follow up on my back since I was in high school.

Can anyone recommend a doctor in the Dallas / Fort Worth Texas area, who specializes in spinal fusion surgery, and treating patients who had surgery years ago like me.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Steve...

If it's an option, I'd like to encourage you to see Mike LaGrone in Amarillo. He's usually mentioned as one of the top 5-10 specialists in the country in terms of revision. You can do a search here (see link above) to find comments.

    Regards,
    Linda

      Mike Surgeon

      Mike.
The surgeon who has the best reputation for adult surgery in Dallas is Dr. Alixis Shelekov. I am a year out of surgery and have met many other patients of this Doctor who are satisfied with their surgery outcomes. he is head of Blaylor Plano hospital scoliosis center. Look him up at Consulting orthodedists.com. He does much of the revision surgery for north texas area.
