Reply to Ohio Doctor
Hello,
I do not know of an Ohio doctor, but I live about two hours from Cincy and am looking for a doctor either in cincy, Dayton or Indianapolis. When I find one I will share my information.
DonnaAge 37. Had S-Curve treated with Harrington Rod Fusion at top of spine, lower spine fusion with hip bone chip filler at age 13. Wore plaster body cast for 8 months during 8th grade. Was treated by Dr. G. Rapp at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Currently have pain from pelvic rotation and a herniated disc. Thinking about surgery and SS.

Are you looking for an adult or pediatric ortho? They are two very different specialties.Gail

Indianapolis
I have an appointment with Dr. Terry Trammel in Indianapolis in November. Of course I have heard of him, but his vitae lists scoliosis as a speciality. When I made the appointment with the Indy Ortho group, the scheduler stated that Dr. Trammel's nurse practioneer had Dr. Trammel treat her scoliosis. I'm going because I'm beginning to have some pain and have never really had any follow up since my fusion as a teenager. Has anyone else used Ortho Indy?

I've been to OrthoIndy
And, I've seen Trammel, but it's been a while. I had my surgery for my kyphosis in 1989 in Louisville, but moved to Indy. Trammel was my first follow-up doc. However, he became very hard to get in to see. When I was visiting less than yearly, the receptionist would never believe that I was a patient of his and I had a terrible time getting an appt. I finally gave up. I have seen another doc in the practice since then. I like him a lot, but he is very conservative, so I am seeking a second opinion about revision possibilities. Trammel was nicer than I expected, considering that he is a doc who sees many race car drivers and professional athletes.
