Linda - can't remember where, but at some point recently you mentioned conditioning yourself to keep your shoulders back to try to avoid extra surgery. I've now got a remedial iyengar yoga teacher, who helps quite a lot. TO help with the shoulder pain and tension she has shown me how to tie a yoga belt into a kind of harness to guide my shoulders down and back - it's quite comforting and not at all annoying. So might be worth getting a yoga teacher to show you.

    Best,

    Hi Lavinia...

I tried a yoga class with Elise Browning Miller many years ago. Unfortunately, almost all of the poses caused fairly bad immediate pain, so I don't think stretching is going to be a possibility in my case.

    Thanks though.

    Regards,
    Linda
