New member. ? about doctors Little Rock, AR

Was pleased to find this site. I have adult scoliosis which is to the place that I have to use a cane to get around. My whole back is a mess. Will be going in to have surgery on my neck on the 23rd of this month. While I am there (Little Rock, AR) I will also see a scoliosis specialist. I was wondering if anyone knew about the reputation of the scoliosis specialists in the Little Rock area. The neurosurgeon that referred me gave me the impression that I was at the point of needing surgery for my scoliosis also. Have already had two fusing surgeries on lumbar area over the last few years. Another surgery scares me to no end. Am not looking forward even to the one on my neck. I am 61 years old and realize that the older I get probably the less they can do for me. One question I have is how much is your range of motion hindered after surgery? Also would like suggestions as to questions I should ask and what I should be aware of when I visit scoliosis specialist? Any suggestions on how I can educate myself will be appreciated. Am sure I will be visiting this site many times over the next few months
