  • When are revision surgeries needed?

I had an anterior posterior spinal fusion for Scheuermann's Kyphosis when I was 18 (I'm now 24), and I am in constant pain still everyday. Is this common? When does it get to the point where surgery is recommended again?

I'm a married college student with little money so there's no way I could afford a surgery. I'm just curious.

    Lucas...

We're all different. Most, but not all pain can be resolved with surgery. My recommendation to you would be to work towards getting yourself in a situation where you have good medical insurance. Then, find a good scoliosis specialist who has experience treating people with prior scoliosis fusions.
