Why acupuncture is nonsense and doesn't work

It has been shown to be just placebo. It works as well if you put the needles in the "wrong" places and even if you don't use needles. Complete bullcrap.

Question: What do you call alternative medicine that works?
    Answer: Medicine

Absolutely agree- beats me how this has ever been accepted in mainstream medicine? In UK Nice guidelines do not recommend it any more but we still have physiotherapist who do it which I do not understand.

With all the surgical videos done in China with patients awake during serious procedures, it makes you wonder, do we really need General Anesthesia for many surgeries?

These patients are tough! Mao's little red book worked quite well! I need to get one right away Ha ha

In this article, Dr Belshe mentions that we know little about the capacity of the mind to reroute pain....the videos are amazing proof of this.
