    The Wash U group looked at 526 patients fused to the sacrum between 2004 and 2014. 18% of patients had at least one rod fracture with at least 2 years of follow-up.

    Thanks for sharing. It was interesting that most rod fxs were unilateral. Do you know if they looked at age as a risk factor in RF?

    2016: Ant/Lat Lumbar diskectomy w/ 4 cages + BMP + harvested bone
    2018: Removal L4,5 screw
    2021: Removal T1 screw & rod
