Trio of grants totaling $7.5M go to hospital studying idiopathic scoliosis
The National Institutes of Health has awarded three grants totaling $7.5 million to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children to study idiopathic scoliosis. The grants will fund studies on the biological causes of the condition and genome sequencing and will pay for a March meeting of physicians and researchers focused on idiopathic scoliosis.
