    when were you allowed to take nsaids post op to manage pain ( back-related or non-back related)?

    8 months for my shoulder repair.

    I took one celebrex.

      At my 4-month post op appointment my surgeon said I could start taking them. I don't as I would rather wait 8-months to a year since I've read posts here saying other surgeons say that. But, he did say it was OK at 4-months.

        You should check with your surgeon. My surgeon allows NSAIDs at the 3M mark.
