My 13 year old daughter has just been diagnosed with scoliosis 35degree of dextroscoliosis of the thoriacic with compensatory levoscoliosis of the lumber spine. Does anyone have experience with this. We are seeing Orthopedic Surgeon tomorrow. Any questions i should ask. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Joanne...

Despite the scary "dextroscoliosis" title, your daughter (unfortunately) has plain old scoliosis. Radiologists like to use big words. Here are some links to websites where you can read very concise reports on scoliosis:

    http://www.pediatric-orthopedics.com...scoliosis.html
    http://orthoinfo.aaos.org/brochure/t...category=Spine
    http://www.srs.org/patients/review
    http://www.iscoliosis.com/

    Best of luck!

    Regards,
    Linda
