I just got the results of a new CT scan. It was taken to try to figure out what has caused the right shoulder to drop and right scapula to shift. The university doctors are teaming up to find that answer.
But, on the report from radiology they note a presence of fluid collection in the lumbar that suggest a meningocele. I didn't even know what that is until I looked it up. The information says it is present in spina bifida. However I am sure that is not the reason. Since it is a fluid sac, do you think it could happen after the dura repair during my scoliosis surgery? Since I have never heard of this does any one know if that is possible? I have not spoken to the doctor about this yet. I am still trying to guess which doctor will discuss it. Please let me know.
