  • 4.5 years postop

Hey everyone I'm now 4.5 years post-op from my Spinal Fusion. I was just thinking about the morning I had my surgery. I was thinking about hiding in the corner of the hotel room. But I didn't because that is childish. I put on my brave face. So when I got to the hospital I was scared. When my name was called I was thinking omg this can't be happen to me right now. So anyway on the OR I was trying to stay clam. After 8 hours of surgery I came out with two rods, 8 screws, 5 hooks, 5 wires and one cross line and a new straight back. The first 2 days I was in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Day 3 I was taken to the Orthopedic Unit I stayed there until March 16th 2010
