Just an update on Dr. Betz' new practice. We saw him today in his NYC office (5th Avenue). He and Dr. Antonacci are performing both VBS and tethering. Dr. Betz sees patients most days in his NJ location (near Princeton). And as of now, he and Janet Cerrone are in NYC on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. Their days in NYC will likely increase as the number of NYC-area patients increases. Dr. Betz told me there are two nearby hospitals that have EOS low-dose x-ray machines and he is able to write scripts and send patients to either location if they desire. He also shared some of his goals and visions for the new practice moving forward and I think patients will be very pleased. He and Janet clearly still have a strong passion for helping families!

I just came across this article which lists Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC (where Dr. Betz is now affiliated) on the honor roll of the best hospitals in the country. I just thought it might be a source of added comfort for anyone who decided to follow him from Shriners OR who might be a new patient of his. We already know the doctor is top notch - and now, not surprisingly, we learn that so is the hospital.
